Job Description:

The role of an Online School Program Coordinator is essential in overseeing and coordinating various programs, initiatives, and activities within the virtual learning environment. As a key member of the administrative team, the Program Coordinator plays a central role in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance student engagement, academic success, and overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Planning: Collaborate with school administrators, educators, and stakeholders to develop, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives that support the school's mission, vision, and goals.
  • Curriculum Coordination: Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of online courses and educational programs, ensuring alignment with academic standards, instructional objectives, and student needs.
  • Event Management: Plan and organize virtual events, workshops, orientations, and other educational activities to engage students, families, and educators, coordinating logistics, scheduling, and communication to ensure successful execution.
  • Student Support Programs: Develop and coordinate student support programs and services to address academic, social, and emotional needs, collaborating with educators, counselors, and support specialists to provide resources, interventions, and assistance to students as needed.
  • Professional Development: Coordinate professional development programs and training opportunities for educators and staff, identifying learning needs, sourcing speakers and facilitators, and organizing workshops, webinars, and conferences to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies.
  • Community Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and educational institutions to expand learning opportunities, access resources, and enhance the educational experience for students.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data on program effectiveness, student outcomes, and stakeholder feedback, generating reports, presentations, and dashboards to inform decision-making, evaluate program impact, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communication and Outreach: Communicate regularly with students, families, educators, and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and promote participation in programs and initiatives, utilizing email, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Budget Management: Assist with budget planning and management for programs and initiatives, monitoring expenditures, tracking revenue, and allocating resources effectively to ensure fiscal responsibility and program sustainability.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies, maintaining documentation, records, and files related to program activities, participants, and outcomes.

Qualifications:.

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of online learning platforms, educational technology tools, and digital resources.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
